Get ready for the technology event of the year!
As a student, there's no experience quite like TechOlympics. This two day conference is run by your fellow high school students, and they've worked hard to make it as awesome as it can possibly be. From competitions like Wiki Races or our Cybersecurity Escape Rooms, to workshops that teach you real skills like AWS or Figma, to our breakout sessions letting you learn from experienced IT veterans from Kroger Technology, NASA, Ascendum, and more!
TechOlympics is designed for you. At TechOlympics, you get to decide what sessions you attend, whether your focus is on Data and AI, Hardware, Cybersecurity, or even ArtTech, there's a session for you to attend. Check out our schedule for more information about event content, and stay tuned once you register for more information on how to build your personal schedule before the event.
TechOlympics is also a great opportunity to network with business professionals. Our Sponsors are here to talk with you about their company and potential opportunities. We highly encourage all students to stop by the Sponsor Booths, and students who visit them all are eligible for one of our many prizes!

At this time, we do not recommend that you bring your laptop, and you are not permitted to bring gaming devices or other electronics. Outside bags are not allowed, and while you will be provided a bag, it is very easy to leave behind as it will look like everyone else’s. INTERalliance and TechOlympics assume no liability for any devices lost, stolen, or damaged during the conference. INTERalliance will provide laptops for use in most competitions and breakout sessions, however, there are some competitions that may ask you to provide your own device. Be sure to note this when signing up for the competitions.
What should I wear?
We recommend casual attire, adhering to your school dress code. Attendees will be provided TechOlympics 2025 T-Shirts, but are not required to wear them. Do keep in mind that you will be meeting sponsors and potential employers.

I am the only student from my school attending TechOlympics. Can I come?
Yes! If you are the only student from your school, or if you are homeschooled, you may still participate in TechOlympics. Select your school from the dropdown if it’s available when you’re signing up, and choose “Other” if not. Contact us if you have any further questions about your attendance.
What sessions will help me navigate and excel within the IA Intern Program?
We know that many of you are coming to TechOlympics to prepare for college or the summer internship program and we have created several sessions to help you with that goal. To identify these sessions, look through the agenda for sessions labeled “Intern Prep” or “Professional Development.” Also, visit our Sponsors at their Booths and Exhibits and during the Career Fair. This will help you immensely!
Which sessions are mandatory at TechOlympics?
To get the full experience we ask that you please add the following into your schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday: Attend all keynotes and the Awards Ceremony to understand what’s coming and to see if you won.
- Saturday: Choose a session of IT & U (11am or 12pm)
- Sunday: Choose a session of INTERalliance Alumni + Internships (11am or 11:45am)
- Saturday and Sunday: Pick a Lunch Time.

- Saturday or Sunday: Choose a Professional Development Session to maximize your chance of getting an internship.
Once you have those picked out, fill the rest of your schedule with Breakouts, Competitions, and Workshops that look interesting to you!
How many competitions do you recommend I sign up for?
We suggest that every TechOlympics registrant sign up for at least 1 competition. They are your opportunity to represent your school, put your knowledge/skills to the test, and have a lot of fun. Make sure you save time to attend the breakouts you’re most interested in, network with professionals in the Sponsorship Booths and meet new students in other activities. We plan to provide all materials for the competitions in advance and there will be a limit on attendees, due to these rules, we ask that you not sign up for competitions that you cannot make.
Do I need to pre-register in advance for sessions?
You do not need to register in advance for Keynote Sessions or Previews, but all other sessions will require pre-registration. This helps us with the logistics of the event as well as procurement as needed. Registration will occur within Whova.
How can my school participate in Showcase Competitions?
