Volunteer Opportunities

Mock Interviewers

Date / Time: February 15-16 | 2:30pm – 5pm

Description: Volunteers will spend time with students in 1:1 rapid interviews and will provide feedback to help them improve their skills.

Who should volunteer? Hiring Managers, HR Professionals, and IT Professionals with interviewing experience.

IT&U

Date / Time: February 15-16 | 9:30am – 11:30am

Description: Roundtable discussions between IT Leaders and students exploring careers, challenges in the workplace, work-life balance, and college opportunities. We will give the facilitators a “talking points” sheet, and one of the students will be an INTERalliance Leadership Council member who is prepared to ask driving questions.

Who should volunteer?: Executives, Hiring Managers, Senior Engineers, and Architects.

Showcase Volunteers

Date / Time: February 15 | 10:00am – 4:30pm

Description: Schools work on IT projects in the months leading up to the event. You will be able to watch the capstone technology projects that high school chapters will present. There will be various times during the day in which the presentations will take place. Showcase Judges will listen to their presentations, score them, and provide feedback.

Who should volunteer?: Anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit, understanding of business plans, an interest in innovation, or a curiosity to see what the talent of the future is creating.

Showcase Judges

Date / Time: February 15-16 | 10:30am – 4:30pm

Description: Schools work on IT projects in the months leading up to the event. Showcase Judges will listen to their presentations, score them, and provide feedback.

Who should volunteer?: Anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit, understanding of business plans, an interest in innovation, or a curiosity to see what the talent of the future is creating.

Showcase Regulator

Date / Time: February 15-16 | 10:30am – 4:30pm

Description: Schools work on IT projects in the months leading up to the event. Showcase Judges will listen to their presentations, score them, and provide feedback. If one of the judges cannot make it to their breakout session, you will be responsible for filling in for them during the given time.

Who should volunteer?: Anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit, understanding of business plans, an interest in innovation, or a curiosity to see what the talent of the future is creating.

General Volunteer

Date / Time: February 15-16 | 8am – 6pm

Description: You will assist with registration, crowd flow, and provide an extra hand with any other tasks that arise.

Who should volunteer?: Anyone wishing to help out.
